Trying a car has never been easier - lots of car brands now offer subscription services on a monthly basis, with no down payment or exit fee so you can swap in and out of different models with minimal notice. Or you can lock in for longer, on a leasing deal, which still means you just pay a monthly amount and hand the car back at the end of the deal.
Then there’s the Buy choice, whether it’s paying for the car with cash or signing up to a fixed term finance deal with the option to buy the car at the end. These are cars that make good long-term sense. And finally our fave section, for dreamers everywhere. The new luxe stuff, the wishlist option or the treat yourself splurge, depending on how big that imagined windfall might be. Enjoy this month’s offerings!

Range Rover Sport
For those after the prestigious Range Rover badge but more comfortable in gym kit than tweeds and wellies the Range Rover Sport comes into its own. It’s still very capable, winning Best Car for Towing in the 2024 Auto Trader New Car Awards, but it’s sleeker and more style focused than its big brother. However, this level of luxury comes with a hefty price tag. To avoid committing to the total cost of ownership you could try Land Rover’s subscription service for a taste of the high life. Tax, insurance, maintenance, and roadside assistance are all covered by your monthly payments, and after six months you have the flexibility to swap your Range Rover Sport for a different model in the line-up.

Kia Picanto
Kia has been building versions of the Picanto for 20 years, so it knows a thing or two about making compact city cars. The Picanto has recently been updated and continues to provide low-cost motoring at its best. It still packs a decent amount of tech for the money too. The tiny engine enjoys being driven with gusto and doing so is a veritable hoot. With an array of trim and styling options, whether you choose to keep things simple or spec your car to the (relative) max, the Picanto is a great buy for anyone after a nippy little run around.

Dream
Bentley Continental GT
The Continental GT is your quintessential grand tourer. It’s luxurious, powerful, and now it’s going hybrid as Bentley commits to a responsible and sustainable reboot of its tradition for building sumptuous cars. This is why it won the Sustainability Initiative Award at our New Car Awards this year. Being more environmentally minded doesn’t mean the new Continental GT is dull, given this is the most powerful version yet! With new headlights and updated tech, it’s a force to be reckoned with. Whether you find yourself behind the wheel of the coupe or convertible you’ll be living the dream.
