Bike, Caravan and Motorhome Early Bird Stock Offer

This Bike, Caravan and Motorhome Early Bird Stock Offer is provided subject to the Main Advertising Terms & Conditions, which are incorporated into these Rules by reference.

Terms defined in the Main Advertising Terms & Conditions shall have the same meaning in these Rules provided that, should a term be defined in both the Main Advertising Terms & Conditions and these Rules, the meaning of the term defined in these Rules shall have precedence in relation to the Rules.

    Business Rules ("Rules")

    1. In these Rules, unless the context otherwise requires, the following terms have the following meanings:
    2. "Additional Stock" means the additional stock that the Qualifying Dealer benefits from during the Early Bird Stock Offer Period;
    3. "Contracted Stock" means the stock amount the Qualifying Dealer has contracted for under their Advertising Agreement prior to the Early Bird Stock Offer Period;
    4. "Early Bird Stock Offer" means the promotion operated by Auto Trader which allows Qualifying Dealers to advertise, for the duration of the Early Bird Stock Offer Period, double the Contracted Stock they have contracted for under their Advertising Agreement;
    5. "Early Bird Stock Offer Period" means the period from when the Qualifying Dealer upgrades their Contracted Stock (being no earlier than 1st September 2023 and no later than 2nd October 2023) and ending on 16th February 2024; and
    6. "Qualifying Dealer" means existing Bike, Caravan and Motorhome Advertisers only who upgrade their Contracted Stock under their Advertising Agreement by 20% between 1st September and 2nd October 2023.
  1. The Early Bird Stock Offer is available to qualifying Bike, Caravan and Motorhome customers only, subject to these Rules.
  2. This Early Bird Stock Offer runs for the Early Bird Stock Offer Period.
  3. Where a Qualifying Dealer qualifies for this Early Bird Stock Offer, it shall be entitled to advertise an additional 100% of the amount of stock it has contracted for under its Adverting Agreement (at the upgraded stock level) for the duration of the Early Bird Stock Offer.
  4. Communication regarding the Early Bird Stock Offer will be via email and any associated costs will be detailed via order confirmation and invoice.
  5. Qualifying Dealers will be responsible for adding any additional vehicles as part of the Early Bird Stock Offer either through Portal, via a stock feed or via AT Connect.
  6. Stock related trade products (where applicable) such as Priority Listing and Image Gallery are included on any Additional Stock added (provided and only to the extent that such have been added to the Contracted Stock the Qualifying Dealer has originally contracted for under their Adverting Agreement).
  7. Qualifying Dealers who downgrade their Auto Trader package during the Early Bird Stock Offer Period will no longer be eligible for the Early Bird Stock Offer and Additional Stock will be removed.
  8. Package downgrades are subject to 30 days’ notice period in writing following the end of the Early Bird Stock Offer Period.
  9. In the event that a Qualifying Dealer submits a request to downgrade the level of Contracted Stock within their Auto Trader Package or downgrade their Auto Trader Package generally following 1st September 2023, the Qualifying Dealer will not be eligible for the Early Bird Stock Offer. If such request is submitted prior to the Early Bird Stock Offer Period, the Qualifying Dealer will not be permitted to take part in the Early Bird Stock Offer. If the request is submitted during the Early Bird Stock Offer Period, any Additional Stock advertised as part of the Stock Offer will be removed at the point such downgrade takes effect.
  10. If the Qualifying Dealer wishes to downgrade the level of Contracted Stock within their Auto Trader Package or downgrade their Auto Trader Package generally, but they still wish to participate in the Early Bird Stock Offer, any Package downgrades are subject to 30 days’ notice in writing to be submitted following the end of the Early Bird Stock Offer Period (with the downgrade taking effect at the earliest 30 days after the end of the Early Bird Stock Offer Period) .
  11. Qualifying Dealers can increase their Contracted Stock level at any point during the Early Bird Stock Offer and the amount of Additional Stock available will be automatically increased accordingly for the remainder of the Early Bird Stock Offer Period.
  12. Following the Early Bird Stock Offer Period, the Qualifying Dealer’s stock will revert to the original Contracted Stock volume under their Advertising Agreement unless an order is submitted for a new increased stock volume.
  13. Qualifying Dealers cannot advertise stock in connection with this Early Bird Stock Offer on behalf of a third party or another dealer.
  14. Auto Trader reserves the right to amend, modify or remove this Early Bird Stock Offer at any point with immediate effect.
