After spending six months living with Audi’s fully electric grand tourer Rory shares his final review of the RS e-tron GT. It’s fair to say that this top of the range, quick and sporty RS e-tron GT has been put through its paces. It’s been drifting, drag-racing, and embarrassing hypercars with its acceleration.
In his previous review Rory has already shared his first impressions, described the driving experience, and put practicality to the test. He has also compared the RS e-tron GT to the closely related Porsche Taycan to see how they differ. So, after half a year of day-to-day driving how does Rory feel now? Although Rory starts this video by discussing the few gripes he has with the car, there’s a long list of things that the RS e-tron GT excels at. From the scratch resistant trim to the glitch-free infotainment screens, the build quality has lived up to the high standard you would expect from an Audi. Then there’s the handling. Whether you are letting loose the legendary RS performance on a racetrack, or elegantly manoeuvring around town, the RS e-tron GT can hold its own. Yes, a Tesla Model S has more range, and the Porsche Taycan Turbo is slightly faster, but the RS e-tron GT offers more than just stats on paper. As Rory hands back the keys, is the RS e-tron GT a car he would recommend? You’ll have to watch to the end to find out! Let him know whether you agree in the YouTube comments and if you enjoyed this review, remember to like the video and subscribe for more like it.
