Tesla is going from strength to strength in 2023 and a big part of that – figuratively and literally – is the Model Y. We’re delighted to announce it as our Best Car for Families 2023.
The Model Y takes everything that’s good about the hugely popular Model 3 and builds on it to make a fantastic family car. The boot is more than twice the size, the cabin has noticeably more headroom throughout, and the SUV vibes mean the driving position is higher, so visibility is better. But all the Model 3’s best qualities remain in the Model Y, including the minimalistic cabin, the show-stopping central touchscreen, the quirky and fun tech integration, the impressive battery range and the “effortless acceleration”, as one owner put it.
