The two new fully-electric vans will be produced by Stellantis Pro One and badged as Iveco vehicles in the medium and large van markets. This significant partnership will result in the launch of the new models in the UK and Europe by mid-2026, and is the start of a ten-year agreement.
What Has Been Confirmed?
That Stellantis will produce the fully-electric vans and that they will be badged as Iveco vehicles in the European market. The new light commercial vehicles will be based on the Stellantis Pro One medium and large van all-electric platforms, ranging from 2.8 to 4.25 tonne gross vehicle weights (GVW).
Where Will The Vans Be Manufactured?
Stellantis Pro One will manufacture the vans at plants in Atessa (Italy), Gliwice (Poland) and Hordain (France) and deliver the vehicles to Iveco Group. Iveco will then distribute the vehicles in the European market – including the UK – through its own sales and service channels.
How Will This Expand Iveco’s Vehicle Lineup?
With GVWs of 2.8-3.1 tonnes and 3.5-4.25 tonnes, the two Iveco vans will extend the brand’s existing battery electric van range – which includes the tough-as-nails Iveco eDaily large electric van – into the lighter commercial vehicle weight classes.
When Will The New Iveco Electric Vans Launch?
The companies have suggested the vans could be ready for launch by mid-2026.
