Father's Day Prize Draw 2024 Terms and Conditions

1. The Prize Draw

   1. The title of the prize draw is the Father's Day Prize Draw.
   2. Entrants will be required to complete an entry form located on the We Invented the Weekend events page on Auto Trader's website. A winner will be selected at random from all entries which comply with these terms and conditions. The winning entry will win the Prize, as defined in these terms and conditions below.

2. How to enter

   1. The prize draw will run from Monday 20th May 2024 (the “Opening Date“) to 23:59 on Tuesday 4th June 2024 (the “Closing Date“) inclusive.
   2. All prize draw entries must be received by the Promoter in accordance with paragraph 2.3 below by no later than 23:59 on the Closing Date. All prize draw entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
   3. To enter the prize draw, entrants must enter via the entry form on the We Invented the Weekend events page on the Auto Trader website, which will be promoted through Auto Trader's social media and emails.
   4. No purchase necessary.
   5. Entrants must be aged 18 or over to be eligible to claim the Prize.
   6. The Promoter will not accept responsibility for prize draw entries that are lost, mislaid, delayed, or otherwise not received by the Promoter due to equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
   7. By submitting a prize draw entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
   8. The winning prize draw entry will be selected by random draw.

3. Eligibility

   1. The prize draw is only open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over, except:
      1. employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
      2. employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the prize draw or its administration; or
      3. members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
   2. In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the prize draw.
   3. The Promoter will not accept prize draw entries that:
      1. are political in nature;
      2. feature content which is likely to be inconsistent with the brand values of the Promoter or which is otherwise considered offensive or derogatory by the Promoter;
      3. are automatically generated by computer;
      4. are completed by third parties or in bulk;
      5. are illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; and/or
      6. are incomplete.
   4. There is a limit of one entry per person per email address. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
   5. The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize draw.

4. The Prize

   1. The winner will receive (the “Prize”):
      1. A £100 voucher to use at Kargo MKT, Salford, Media City (valid for 6 months); and
      2. A family room, suitable for up to 2 adults and 2 children, (redeemable on Saturday 15th June 2024 only) at the Holiday Inn, Manchester, Media City, with breakfast included.
   2. The Prize may include certain conditions and exclusions, which will be made known to the winner upon provision of the Prize. It is the winner's responsibility to ensure that they comply with the same, as well as any general rules and responsibilities applicable to customers who attend the venues included in the Prize.
   3. The Prize is provided and fulfilled by Auto Trader.
   4. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the Prize are the responsibility of the winner.
   5. Prizes are subject to availability. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control make it necessary to do so.
   6. The Prize is not refundable, transferable, or exchangeable for a cash alternative.
   7. By entering the prize draw you acknowledge and accept that apart from providing the Prize the Promoter has no control over the products/services which comprise the Prize and therefore, without prejudice to the generality of paragraph 7 below, the Promoter shall, to the furthest extent permissible by law, have no liability to the winner for any loss or damage suffered by the winner in connection with such products/services.

5. Winner

   1. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
   2. The winner of the prize draw will be announced once the winner has claimed the Prize via email, social media and on the We Invented the Weekend Landing Page of the Auto Trader website (“Announcement Date”).
   3. The Promoter will contact the winner via the email address provided upon entry as soon as practicable on or around Wednesday 5th June 2024. The Promoter will not amend any contact information once the prize draw entry has been submitted.
   4. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of the winner to anyone who emails competitions@autotrader.co.uk or writes to the Promoter at the above address (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the Closing Date. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at competitions@autotrader.co.uk In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
   5. To claim the Prize, the winner must respond to the Promoter's contact confirming eligibility and acceptance of Prize.

6. Claiming the Prize

   1. Following the winner's email in accordance with paragraph 5.5 above, the Prize will be delivered as soon as practicable after the Announcement Date, but before Saturday 15th June 2024.
   2. The Prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
   3. The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their Prize within 48 hours of the Promoter first contacting the winner, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
   4. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the Prize.

7. Limitation of liability

   1. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate any entrant, or the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of entering this prize draw, fulfilling the competition requirements or taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. The Promoter's total aggregate liability to the winner will not in any event exceed the cost of the Prize. Other than providing the Prize to the winner, the Promoter is in no way responsible for the acts, omissions or otherwise (including the standard or quality) of the third parties fulfilling the Prize. Your statutory rights are not affected.

8. Data protection and publicity

   1. The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in the privacy policy located at https://www.autotrader.co.uk/privacy-policy

9. General

   1. Entrants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry.
   2. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, exclude you from participating in the prize draw.
   3. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations.
   4. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
   5. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
