The Audi RS e-tron GT is a great car. But time stands still for nobody, and Audi is already working on an improved version for the 2025 model year. So, who to ask to find out what areas needed working on? People who’ve lived with the existing e-tron would seem a good start. People like our very own Rory Reid, as it turns out!
Having lived with an RS e-tron GT for six months and used it for everything from high-speed track driving to everyday commuting it’s safe to say Rory knows the car inside out. And has some opinions on what he likes, and what he doesn’t. In this revealing video you can join him for an exclusive behind the scenes look at how car manufacturers like Audi go about improving their cars, and the kind of questions they ask existing drivers, be they regular owners in focus groups or professional reviewers like Rory. True, regular owners don’t necessarily get flown out to Oman to drive prototypes and offer one-on-one feedback to Audi on the things they’d like to see changed. But, hopefully, Rory can speak for every existing e-tron driver out there as he goes for a spin with Audi’s e-tron GT spokesperson Christian Hartmann and they explore some of the new features coming to the updated car. Or, at least, the ones Christian is willing to tell Rory about! In it they also talk about some of the features Rory would like to see added, including one very … specific request! But you’ll have to watch the video to find out what that is. Once you’ve done that if you haven’t already then make sure you like and subscribe , and hit the bell for notifications of fresh videos dropping on the Auto Trader YouTube channel.
