The second season of "Show on the Road" is officially here, bringing you along for the ride with some of the UK’s most influential and authentic personalities.
We chose this year’s guests because they represent some of the best of Britain – diverse, funny, and heartfelt stories from a whole host of brilliant guests. Show on the Road takes the traditional celebrity podcast out of the studio and into the car for a road trip like no other, with host Alexandra Legouix. Big Manny: Inspiring a new generation of scientists
In this episode, Show on the Road gets an exclusive look into the life of the man behind the magnesium, as Big Manny takes us for a tour of his manor around Barking and Dagenham.
Big Manny has combined his vast knowledge of science with a verbal swagger to inspire the next generation of scientists like nothing else. But things could have been very different, and in this episode, we learn how his first videos had to be pulled off the web and uncover his other passion in life, music. Cruising around in a BMW X6 M60i, Big Manny takes us to his family home, his old school where he developed that love of science and where he used to work as a lab technician before going viral. We also go and see some science in action as well and get him to explain what’s going on and its impact on the environment.
