Warranty periods and servicing schedules vary widely depending on the make, model and year of registration of your vehicle.

You are always recommended to follow the manufacturer's service schedule and read the warranty document for your vehicle. Should you have any problems your local car dealer will be able to assist you. Additionally, purchasing an extended warranty or 'piece of mind' period from your dealer or motoring organisation is often available.
Manufacturer's Warranty - Issued for new and used cars through the authorised dealer - usually cover manufacturing and material defects for an agreed period. Typically, manufacturer's warranty periods range from one to three years depending on the details mentioned above.
Used Car Warranty - Issued by the selling dealer to you. These also vary widely, so read them carefully and if in any doubt at all, ask your dealer.
Warning - If you get your car serviced by a dealer who is not authorised in line with your warranty, your cover may be affected. Also tampering with your car, including the fitting of non-manufacturer approved accessories can affect the warranty along with the safe operation of your vehicle.
Tip - Get your vehicle serviced only at authorised service stations and find the specific dealer's garage for your car.
